Under the Department of Medical Imaging, the Division of Ultrasound was established in 2012.

We equip 34 advanced medium and high-grade color ultrasonic diagnostic instruments.The Division of Ultrasound provides 24/7 coverage to both daily and urgent imaging services. Wide varieties of routine and special examinations and services are catered to all types of patients. In aspect of the routine ultrasound imaging, without radiation, ultrasound medicine visualizes muscle and internal organs including their size, structure and pathological lesions. Obstetric ultrasonography also is widely used in prenatal diagnosis during pregnancy.

Our division embrace new technologies and new projects and realize breakthrough progress in ultrasound intervention. Our ultrasound intervention clinic was officially opened in August 2020 and provides the following diagnosis and treatment purposes:

1.USG-guided biopsy items:

Superficial lymph node, thyroid nodule, breast mass, body surface mass, pleura and peripheral lung tissue, liver tumor, kidney tissue, female pelvic masse and other puncture biopsies

2.USG-guided drainage items:

Puncture and retention of pleural (abdominal) effusion, cyst drainage and puncture and retention, puncture drainage of pericardial effusion, puncture and retention of intra-abdominal abscess, puncture and retention of biliary obstruction.

3.Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography diagnosis:

Intravenous and body cavity contrast-enhanced ultrasound: Space-occupying lesions, hysterosalpingography, left heart and right heart sonography, and other regions coverage.

4.Joint bursa mucosa injection:

Drainage treatment of arthroedema, drug injection treatment of articular cavity, mucosa injection treatment of under shoulder peak  deltoid, injection treatment of bicipital muscle of arm and dolichocephalia tendon sheath, water separation treatment of nerve entrapment injection, injection treatment of piriformis.

5.Pain retardant:

Peripheral nerve pain retardant, stellate ganglion nerve retardant.

6.Special treatment:

Treatment of calcified tendinitis of rotator cuff by irrigation and aspiration, trigger finger A1 pulley release treatment.

7.Local needle knife stripping and debonding treatment:

Treatment of golf elbow with needle knife release, treatment of plantar fasciitis with needle knife release, treatment of myofascial pain with needle knife release, treatment of iliotibial tract friction syndrome with needle knife release, treatment of calcified tendinitis with needle knife release.

8.USG-guided Tumor ablation treatment:

Thyroid nodule ablation, uterine fibroid ablation, liver cancer ablation, breast nodule ablation.
