In accordance with the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Supporting Shenzhen in Building a Pilot Demonstration Area of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, and the List of the First Batch of Approved Matters for Comprehensive Reform of Shenzhen in Building a Pilot Demonstration Area of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, and other documents, HKU-SZH has undertaken a number of tasks assigned by the state for pilot reform exploration, including the measure of using Hong Kong registered drugs and medical devices used in Hong Kong public hospitals in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (the Measure), cross-border medical integration, medical personnel training in line with international standards, and the establishment of an international hospital accreditation system.
