Under the Department of Medical Imaging, the Division of Interventional Radiology was established in 2013. We provide a range of IR diagnostic and interventional treatment in a manner of precision and minimally invasiveness. All IR doctors possess doctor and master's degrees. Our IR teams shall provide standardized and professional medical services to patients with reference to the international guidelines.

We install 2 Digital Subtraction Angiographic machines and providing 24/7 services to all patient types. Wide varieties of routine and special services can be provided including:

1.Image-guided puncture biopsy, drainage, and stent placement in all parts of the body

2.Arterial embolization and percutaneous sclerotherapy of vascular malformations

3.Transhepatic arterial chemoembolization (TACE) in patients with inoperable liver cancer

4.DEBIRI treatment for liver metastasis of intestinal cancer

5.Radiofrequency and microwave ablation of various solid tumors

6.Maintenance of vascular vein access such as infusion port and fistula stenosis in vivo

7.Emergency hemostasis and rescue by arterial bleeding embolization.

8.Peripheral balloon formation and stent forming treatment for vascular stenosis: such as Budd Chiari syndrome, Renal artery stent placement for hypertension caused by renal artery stenosis, etc.

9.Other services: transjugular intrahepatic portal body shunt (TIPS), selective portal vein embolization (PVE), vena cava filter implantation, hysterosalpingography (HSG), bilateral adrenal vein, inferior rock sinus blood collection for the diagnosis.

The diagnosis and treatment of vascular malformation is our featured project. Since the opening of the IR division in 2013, the annual number of vascular malformation IR operations has been roughly 200 and has been ranked top of Shenzhen city.
