Division of Cardiovascular Medicine
[Division profile]
The team of Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital, established 10 years ago, is one of the top-tier public hospitals at present, the division is the key cultivation disciplines in Shenzhen, Sanming Project of Medicine in Shenzhen (Dudley Pennell academician team of Imperial College London, UK) and one of the key construction divisions of the youngest high-level hospital. It was selected as the national "chest pain center (awarded the ACHS Qi Global Quality Improvement Award), heart failure center (as national demonstration center, the national outstanding contribution award for assistance, teaching and quality control star (ranking the fourth in China)), cardiac rehabilitation center (a national demonstration center, humanities construction unit (totally two units in China in 2019)), and atrial fibrillation center (a national standardized atrial fibrillation demonstration center)". It is the first and youngest division of "National Double Demonstration Center for heart failure and cardiac rehabilitation" in Guangdong Province. At the same time, the division was rated as the national cardiac rehabilitation nursing training base (the first in Guangdong Province), the national drug clinical trial base, the doctoral and master training unit of the University of Hong Kong, Jinan University and the post-doctoral mobile station. The scientific research articles were selected as one of the top ten clinical studies of heart failure in 2021.
"Sanming Project of Medicine team" of cardiovascular imaging precision medicine team of Dudley Pennell, academician of Royal Brompton Hospital of Imperial College London
In 2019, the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine was officially introduced into the "Sanming Project" of the cardiovascular imaging precision medicine team of academician Dudley Pennell of Royal Brompton Hospital of Imperial College London, UK. The team is composed of experts in cardiology, imaging and biomedical engineering. The main cooperation direction is 1) the comprehensive and accurate medical evaluation of coronary heart disease, heart failure and cardiomyopathy. 2) using advanced clinical diagnosis and imaging technology to analyze etiology, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, quantitative analysis, risk stratification, prognosis, efficacy evaluation of drugs and surgery, follow-up and other aspects of cardiovascular diseases. 3) development and promotion of new cardiovascular magnetic resonance technology and conducted relevant translational medicine research. 4) basic research focusing on the mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases, diagnosis and treatment technology in combination with genomics and radiomics. The team established a clinical application and education base of cardiovascular magnetic resonance. At the same time, the team is also the leader of a variety of top imaging technologies in the UK, such as magnetic resonance sequence, automatic analysis and processing software, diffusion tensor imaging, four-dimensional blood flow, etc. The team has close cooperation with research and development institutions in software and hardware development, technology application and other aspects. Professor Dudley Pennell, the discipline leader of the team, former president of the international society of cardiovascular magnetic resonance and former editor in chief of the Journal of cardiovascular magnetic resonance, won the gold medal of the international society of cardiovascular magnetic resonance (SCMR) and the best research award of the National Institute of Cardiology and lung in the UK for his outstanding contribution in the field of cardiovascular magnetic resonance.
[service features and merits]
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine adopts the mode of appointment for medical treatment and draws lessons from the medical management mode of UK and Hong Kong. The treatment and management mode are in line with international standards and becomes a modern division integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and prevention. Adhering to the service concept of "patients' life safety first", patients can enjoy "one-stop" diagnosis and treatment services. Experienced, standardized and professional medical and nursing teams take good care of the patients’ health and bring "heart" new hope.

Medical Advice
Guidelines for Medical Treatment
See a doctor: make an appointment (telephone, on-site reservation office on the first or second floor, wechat, etc.) - register (pay) - wait (the display screen is called queue number) - see a doctor (according to the consulting room prompted by the display screen).
Examination: check list (paid) - make an appointment (front desk nurse station) - register (take the reserved check list to the front desk nurse station) - wait (call the name according to the appointment time) - results (the report will be printed after the ABPM is removed; after 10-15 minutes of cardiac ultrasound and exercise tablet report, the result of Holter will be prompted by SMS 3-5 working days later).
Report: put on the outpatient medical record and all examination reports and submit them to the front desk nurse or medical guide, who will ask the doctor to see the report and relay the doctor's suggestions. If the results are normal and there is no physical discomfort, there is no need to see a doctor again; If the results are normal and still feel unwell, please ask the doctor to continue to see the specialty or other divisions, and make a new appointment for registration; Those who report abnormal results should make a new appointment for registration and follow-up.
Warm tips on relevant examinations in cardiology clinic
Due to the limited examination equipment, in order to improve the utilization rate of the equipment and avoid the delay of the latter patient's examination, patients who have ambulatory blood pressure, ambulatory electrocardiogram and exercise tablet examination, please be sure to bring the original examination application form to the hospital before the appointment period. The specific time is as follows:
