Established in September 2021, the Division of Cardiac Arrhythmia is chaired by Prof. Haiying LI, a renowned expert in electrophysiology and pacing. He has been engaged in ablation and pacemaker treatment of complex arrhythmias for more than 20 years. Experienced in the radiofrequency ablation and cryoablation of atrial fibrillation, he is one of the few surgeons in China who can independently perform the extremely difficult operation called "combined internal and external membrane ablation" on patients with organic ventricular tachycardia. Meanwhile, he is also a world-leading training expert in left atrial appendage occlusion who is capable of performing difficult His-bundle pacing (HBP), left bundle branch pacing (LBBP), and ICD and CRT operations in pacing.

Prof. Haiying LI's team excels at the drug and interventional treatment of various types of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, and atrial premature beats, and is especially experienced in His-Purkinje system pacing (HPSP), radiofrequency ablation and cryoablation of atrial fibrillation，radiofrequency ablation of complex ventricular arrhythmias, and left atrial appendage occlusion. In recent years, the team has successfully treated a large number of patients suffering from severe arrhythmias, securing a leading position in Mainland China in the treatment of bradycardia and tachycardia.
