 The division of thyroid surgery is dedicated to provide an international standard of clinical service and research of thyroid and parathyroid diseases, including thyroid nodule, thyroid cancer, refractory hyperthyroidism, and hyperparathyroidism. Taking thyroid nodules as an example, our team would carefully evaluate the nature of nodules, inform patients whether surgical treatment is needed, and provide individualized surgical plans in combination with the characteristics of each patient, aiming at providing a high standard of care to patients.

Our team provide "one-step" services. For most patients, we can perform ultrasound examination for patients in the outpatient clinic and ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration cytology diagnosis can also be performed on the spot when necessary. The whole process is only 10 minutes, which greatly reduces the waiting time of patients.

The concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery has been well used in our division. Most patients are discharged from the hospital for an average of 2 days after surgery, and the total length of hospital stay is an average of 4 days. We can skillfully and professionally perform endoscopic and surgical robotic system thyroid surgery through a variety of approaches, including oral vestibular approach，the areola and the axilla approach. For some patients with benign thyroid nodules, our team can bring the most minimally invasive treatment to patients through thyroid microwave ablation.
