The Hospital held the Opening Ceremony of HKUSZH 10th Anniversary on November 12, 2021. The attendees included Mr. Chun-ying LEUNG, Vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and Ms. Yihuan WU, Vice-chairwoman of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. They launched the anniversary opening ceremony, together with Prof. Chung-Mau LO, Hospital Chief Executive of HKUSZH, Mr. Xiaoping XU, Party Committee Secretary of the Hospital, and other officials present at the event.

With the joint efforts and support of Shenzhen and Hong Kong, the Hospital has integrated wisdom and strengths of both cities since it was founded. Led by global vision and advanced concept, it has reformed and innovated daringly. A new path has thus been discovered to prompt the high-quality development of public hospitals:

Became the youngest 3A hospital in Guangdong Province, 2017.

Selected as one of the first batch of High-level Hospitals in Guangdong, 2018.

Received high praise from Vice Premier Sun Chunlan on green healthcare reform, 2019.

Presented “Shenzhen Mayor's Quality Award” (top award in the Society category), and became the only medical institution winning this award in Shenzhen, 2020.

Selected as a national pilot hospital for the high-quality development, and for establishing and improving the modern hospital management system, 2021.
